I've been using PRIMO PDF for the last 5 years, and I'm happy with it. You can convert anything ( a picture, an office document, etc ) to PDF with Nitro PDF's Primo PDF free sotware. You can also adjust any kind of print,ng properties to make it a virtually small PDF file easy to share. Works as much like the Cute PDF, there's a printer added to your other registered printers.

There's a serious glitch with Adobe's PDF printer software when attempting to print web pages from Mozilla Firefox and other web browsers. When the file dialog window appears prompting you where/what file to print to, the browser will 'lock up' (freeze/frozen). When the browser process is terminated, you can no longer print anything in the web browser. When this happens, you need to restart the Windows print spooler service (run "services.msc" and scroll down to the service, right-click, stop, and then start it back up).
After much research, I found a solution/workaround: go into the Adobe PDF printer preferences and disable the "prompt for filename" option. Instead, specify a location to save the PDF files to.

I don't think HTG ever implied there was a CutePDF app for Metro. A Google search for "cute pdf metro" turns up "CutePDF Writer Alternatives for Windows Metro" as the first result. Adding "site:cutepdf.com" to the query turns up nothing.
So, I suppose Windows RT users will have to use another solution.
@ChrisHoffman - It would be good to add more detail in the article about which versions of Office support print-to-PDF natively. I'm sure much of the world hasn't upgraded to 2013 yet.
